I was just booked to shoot my first solo wedding. Yep. My first solo wedding.

Thrilled, anxious, confident and honored. Those are the words that keep coming back to me. Such simplistic words and varied emotions. I'm a tad bit nervous, but a great photographer once told me, "You should always be a little bit nervous." I was told that a photographer who cares about the subject and the art form should never be so confident that they don't get nervous. So I guess I'm on the right track.

The wedding site is beautiful, the couple is ridiculously amazing and I'm really honored to get to be a part of such an important day.

The month of April is going to be great. I can feel it already. I'm shooting my first wedding on April 5th, and on April 27th, I'm shooting my father's wedding in Park City, Utah. I've spent years studying, working, practicing and it finally feels like I might be able to make this dream a reality. I may just be able to make a living as a photographer. How cool is that?
