is latin for "with pen running on"

As a senior in high school, I took Latin as part of my insanely challenging Advanced Composition class. As our final, we were placed into groups and tasked with writing a book about writing a research paper. The book was about 120 pages long and we called it currente calamo. Clearly, this book is incredibly worn, and you can't tell from the picture, but the big black blob was actually a picture of a river... until it got photo copied and looked like the black hole. And please note, the bright blue blob of paint that was spilled on it at one point. Let's just say that this book got me through my first year of college, with all A's. I love this book. Seriously, it rocks.

And now, it's the new title of my blog. Somehow, the idea of "with pen running on" seemed oddly appropriate with reference to blogging, no? A running pen. That's my goal, to keep the metaphorical pen running on. To keep blogging more often. With Pen Running On.
